Each turn the roller rolls 3 symbol dice (the six expedition colours) and 3 number dice (0β9), and takes one of each β or passes. Then everyone else takes a symbol and a number from the four dice left (all six if the roller passed), or passes. Several players may take the same dice.
Expeditions run bottom to top. The number goes in its colour's expedition, never lower than the number below it (1 is the lowest; a 0 counts as 10). A 0 on an expedition you haven't started can mark its double circle β β that expedition scores double, good or bad. Start it without the circle and the circle is struck.
Bonus boxes: an arrow lets you move any expedition up one box, writing its top number again (a 1 to start a new one) β chains if that box is an arrow too. An artefact shades the next vase on the right. A full expedition plus a number that could continue it marks its top artefact instead (once).
Passing shades the next dice box on the right. The 9th makes you exhausted: that column scores 0 (the 8th is worth 70).
Bridges: the first to reach the 7th box of a column (any of the 8, including the vases and dice) scores 20 β shared if several reach it in the same turn. The game ends when all 8 bridges are passed or everyone is exhausted.
Scoring: each expedition scores by how many boxes it has (β20, β15, β10, then 5, 10, 15, 30, 35, 50), doubled if circled; a circle with nothing above it is β100. Vases and dice score by how many are shaded (β40 β¦ 100). Plus bridges. Most points wins.
