Each turn the active player reveals three cards (a Ra card is set aside and replaced) and enters one on their scoresheet first. Then everyone else, at the same time, enters one of the other two. Several players may take the same card. A card with nowhere to go is lost.
Gods (1β20): write the number in an empty God space of the current Kingdom. Filling all three adds them up and gives a Pharaoh bonus. Pharaohs: mark the leftmost space; spaces 3, 6, 9 and 12 give a Nile bonus.
Nile (1β20): write the number in any empty space β numbers never go down from left to right (equal is fine; gaps are allowed). A full part of three gives a Civilization bonus. Civilization: mark that type in the current Kingdom's line; three in a line give a Monument bonus. Monuments: mark the top empty space of that column; the top of all eight columns gives a bonus in any section.
Bonus entries are made straight away (or skipped): Gods always 20; Nile any number that fits; Civilization / Monuments any type.
Kingdoms: the third Ra card ends a Kingdom and it is scored at once β Gods (this Kingdom's total) and Pharaohs (all marked so far): most +5, fewest β5 (3+ players), all equal 0 Β· Nile: 1 per filled space Β· Civilization: this line's marks 0/1/2/3/4/5 = β5/0/0/5/10/15 Β· Monuments: 1 per column started. Play carries on.
The end: after three Kingdoms (nine Ra). Bonuses of 10 each: all 9 Gods, all 12 Pharaohs, all 12 Nile, all 8 Monument columns started, and each full Monument column. Ties go to the highest single God, then the next.
Our readings: Gods and Civilization are entered in the current Kingdom only. Ra & Write is by Reiner Knizia; the art here is our own.
