How to play

Your turn: roll all five dice in the tray (flick them or tap Roll — after 7 seconds they roll themselves). Tap dice to keep them, then roll the rest again — up to three rolls in all. Then tap an empty box on your card (the pencilled number is what it would score) and tap it again — or ✓ Score — to write it in. Every turn fills one box, even with a 0.

Upper: the total of that number (63 or more → +35). 3 / 4 of a Kind: all five dice if you have that many alike. Full House 25 (three + two), Small Straight 30 (four in a row), Large Straight 40 (five in a row), YAHTZEE 50 (five alike), Chance: any dice, their total.

More Yahtzees: +100 each if your Yahtzee box already has 50. Once your Yahtzee box is filled, a Yahtzee is a Joker: it must go in its number's upper box if that's open; otherwise in any lower box at full value (Full House 25, straights 30 / 40…); if those are full too, a 0 in an open upper box.

Triple Yahtzee: three columns of the card — each turn you score in any one — counted ×1, ×2 and ×3, each with its own upper bonus; 39 turns. Our readings: a Yahtzee is a Joker once all three Yahtzee boxes are filled; the +100 comes whenever a Yahtzee box already holds 50.

Rainbow Yahtzee (Painted Yahtzee, from freethedice.com): every die's faces are also painted red, green, yellow, blue or purple (each die its own way). Colour boxes add up the dice of that colour (75 or more → +25); 4 of a Kind / 4 of a Colour (all dice); Full House and Painted House (three + two of a colour) 25; Rainbow 35 (one of each colour); Straight 40 (five in a row); Flush 45 (all one colour); Yahtzee 50; Chance. 20 turns.
